We have analyzed some natural phenomena of great environmental and social impact, such as the “energy and light efficiency”, the “solar and terrestrial magnetic field”, the “CO2 in the world” and the “electromagnetic whirlwind”; we have responded to some key questions related to human existence and its purpose, for example: how the Earth would be in the “Scenario of changes in terrestrial atmospheric mass”?, what is the evolution of the “Earth–Mars planets over time”?, the “Planets have broken away from the Sun”? and how the “physical constants change in other Universes”?, and we have investigated energy as an engine of progress. Furthermore we have analyzed some technological processes of strong economic and social impact, such as the “oil in the world”; we have shown the technical characteristics and limitations of the “Japan superfast train”; we have highlighted the problematic aspects of “stability” of large works such as the Messina bridge.
